About Us
Genesee Star Quilters (aka GSQ) is a non-profit quilter's guild located near Flint, Michigan.
The guild is open to adults in Genesee County and beyond.
We meet for fun, friendship, to share techniques and to make our community a softer, warmer place.
We offer exciting programs and classes.
Guild Meetings
GSQ meets the third Friday of each month, from January through November.
In December the guild meets for a holiday party.
Monthly guild meetings consist of two parts:
- Business meeting: 10 - 11:30 am includes refreshments, show and tell, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, review of ongoing business, block lottery, and charm square exchange.
- Program: 12:30 pm to approximately 1:30 pm. Past programs have included trunk shows, nationally known quilters, making donation quilts, an auction of quilt-related supplies, and sharing of quilters' techniques.
